My Projects

Using left over wood and the free time in lockdown, I expermented with different hand held tools and ideas to make small projects at home. My first few projects were simple birdhouses, which then lead onto a stationary organiser, a rough picture frame and a tool shelf. I had a lot of fun making my own things and would love to bring these skills into my work in the future.

I used simple tools such as sand paper and a hammer to turn an old shoe bench into a small stoarge unit in my room. I take pride in this project as it took quite a bit of patient and time to make! The next project was made in school. I made nearly every part of the storage unit including the door handles and the feet. The parts i cannot take credit for are the door hinges and painting of the unit. Other than building this project, I’d have to say the best part was designing the shoe system to meet all my needs.

This little table and chair is by far the most rewarding project i have made, so far. My cousin also has a love for drawing and DIY, even at her age. For her birthday i made her her very own little area to enjoy the crafts. Her smile made up for frustration this little project had caused!
